- Resolutions Update.

Since I enjoy crossing things off my list, here is my latest update on my new year's resolutions. Number 1 is off the list. Yay! I have about 11,000 words in part 1 of Number 3 and wrote a synopsis for it too. I'd have more, but I rewrote the beginning. Not only that, but I have a tentative plan for the second one. Finally, I am almost...almost done with Number 6 - although number 6 has turned out more crackish than I intended initially, I am happy to be getting to the end. Which I have planned out and I like at least in theory. Which probably will make it more of a crack fic. So...
Anyway. Here is my March update.
Updated Writing Resolutions.
1. Write the two prompts that I claimed on thehoodie_timecommunity fanfiction challenge...these are supposed to be done by Feb 14th. So actually this resolution expires by that date. I think there should be yetis in at least one of these. (Halfway there...)
2. Write a time-travel supernatural fanfiction.
3. Write an original novel by July. And another by next December. Aim high. Why not?
4. I have a short story contest I want to enter. So. Write short story and enter short story contest.
5. Write a sequel to my Supernatural/NCIS crossover.
6. Finish the new thing I started with the cursed bracelets.

Summary: From the prompt: Dean and Sam are in the middle of nowhere, in a storm and Dean -- unbeknown to him already has walking pneumonia (he thinks he's just been fighting a bad cold) and he somehow ends up being knocked unconscious and nearly drowning (doesn't matter if it's work related or just some natural occurrence, author chooses) and Sam saves him, manages to revive him but Dean is in really rough shape from the head injury and the near-drowning and the already weakened state of his pneumonia-racked lungs. . .Sam finds them shelter in a cave and has to get Dean as warm and dry as possible, help him breathe, maybe even have to hold Dean upright because he can't breathe when he's lying flat? Mainly, I need a lot of shivering, coughing, struggling-to-breathe Dean and much caring, yet worried Sam. . .really, I'm not particular on the details of everything so the author is free to write it however he/she wishes, as long as the sickish/hurt Dean and awesome Sam shines through. . .only there are yeti's and no storms.

There is a lot of snow here. Which is a great thing. It means the probability of me having to trudge into work on Monday is lowwwww. Not to mention, snow makes me happy. We don't get it much in NC and I associate it with days off of school. And, since I still have power, I can pretty much relax and enjoy it. I have this hopeful feeling I'll get off Tuesday too. So. To conclude. Yay!
